The perfect date night or moms night out is just around the corner. Imagine an evening stroll through gardens and outdoor dining, with Gourmet delights and cocktails from many of the best restaurants and bars in Baton Rouge. Gourmet in the Garden is an affordable yet elegant outdoor fine dining experience among the fragrance of flowers in a beautiful botanic gardens setting. Join us for a lovely evening while supporting the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens and the not for profit Louisiana Culinary Institute Foundation .
In previous years, Gourmet in the Garden has featured a multitude of local chefs presenting their unique recipes made with local flavors of Louisiana. This year, the annual event Cocktails in the Garden will be combined with Gourmet in the Garden to enhance the guest’s experience by combining food and drink. Kirk Holder will be providing the soundtrack to this magical evening of food, drinks and dancing under the stars.
During the event, the chefs and mixologists will compete for the People’s Choice Award as well as a judged first, second and third prize in their respective categories.
Gourmet in the Garden benefits educational programs through the Louisiana Culinary Institute Foundation and the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden and is sponsored in part by Republic National Distributing Company.

Tickets for the 2017 Gourmet in the Garden include food and drink tastings from more than 20 local restaurants and bars. Tickets must be purchased online through Eventbrite.
Tickets can be purchased from April 1 until noon the day of the event for $65. In the event that Gourmet in the Garden is not sold out, tickets will be available for purchase at the door for $70.
