Baton Rouge Gives Back – Baton Rouge Volunteer Opportunities

A few weeks ago we took a poll and asked what you wanted to see more of on Baton Rouge Family Fun; we received an overwhelming response for information on ways to give back to the community with family-friendly Baton Rouge volunteer opportunities.

“Everybody can be great…because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”― Martin Luther King Jr.

Baton Rouge Family Fun was born from a shared aspiration to positively impact our city. Every month, we’re excited to shine a spotlight on inspiring ways to do good and contribute to our community through volunteer work or donations to local organizations. You can easily access this feature from our website’s menu, and we’ll keep it fresh with new volunteering and giving opportunities.

If you’re aware of any pressing needs or local 501(c) nonprofit organizations that deserve a spot on our growing list, please don’t hesitate to email us.

Families can lend their time and talents to those in need year-round. It’s a powerful way to instill the values of community service in our children and demonstrate that together, we can achieve more than any one of us can on our own.

But that’s not all! We’ll also organize ‘Baton Rouge Families Give Back’ events, where local families can unite and volunteer for causes that directly impact our community.

Together, we can work towards making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most. Our collective efforts will contribute to a stronger, healthier Baton Rouge for everyone!
